TRUTH
From the beginning of time mankind has sought the guidance of a “Higher Power” to direct the paths of his life. Through the ages, it became clear that the CREATOR had established a standard by which mankind should function. When mankind maintains that standard, the world develops into an increasingly peaceful place and man’s existence becomes more harmonious and in tune with GOD. By contrast when we choose to reject the standard of the CREATOR, we expose ourselves to untold difficulties that impact this world and undermine GOD’S intent for HIS design.
In the beginning, GOD created the heavens and the Earth. The word for the CREATOR is singular in this grammatical context, and confirms the monotheistic outlook that the ALMIGHTY requires from HIS creation. That single CREATOR is the same entity that set the standard of high morality for mankind, full of righteous acts without corruption, designed to praise HIM and benefit mankind’s journey on Earth.
The embodiment of that standard was a man called Abraham. Through Abraham, GOD was able to demonstrate the expectation of that righteous character to a people who were to become a “kingdom of priests” to the nations. Abraham showed his worthiness through many trials and tribulations wherein he performed GOD’s will every time. Abraham, through his son Isaac and grandson Jacob, brought forth the children of Israel. Through the Israelites, via their lawgiver Moses in particular, GOD brought forth the first of HIS ten commandments in written form, which was to be taught to the world. And through Moses, the CREATOR legislated the remaining commandments, statutes, and judgements, which later became known as the Torah. This was to be forever installed as the standard by which mankind would enjoy a preeminent lifestyle and GOD would consequently judge all mankind.
Through the immortal words of Moses, it was prophesied that the Israelites, the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, would go into a future enslavement apart from the servitude experienced in Egypt. A captivity that we have come to realize parallels the harsh bondage suffered by the American Negro, West Indians, those from Central and South America, and many others scattered throughout the world who endured the horrors of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. To some, the dispersing of these various groups is known as the “diaspora.” Moses’s prophecy, like many other biblical prophecies, indicated that the Israelites would be scattered throughout the Earth. They would have yokes of iron placed around their necks and would not enjoy their children because they, too, would go into captivity. Parents would look at their little ones with longing as they were sold away, and there would be no power in their hands to preserve their families.
The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade brought captives to ports in North America, the West Indies, and Central and South America. In keeping with its triangular trade route, it also took enslaved people to ports throughout Europe and Asia. These historical accounts, along with their resemblance to biblical prophecies, indicate with a high probability that the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade was the final fulfillment of the prophecy that Moses declared in the book of Deuteronomy, chapter 28, and other prophetic books of the Holy Scriptures.
Since the same Scriptures declare that disobedience to GOD is what has manifested these instances of cruel bondage, the only acceptable solution is to return to be the righteous people with the high moral standards that GOD intended for mankind since creation. A godlier individual can be a huge inspiration in creating a godly family and a more harmonious community. The potential for righteousness will grow exponentially when we each apply ourselves to being better individuals. As we look to rid ourselves of the oppression created by the hostile, drug infested communities in which many of our people live, we also look to rid ourselves of the stigma created by hundreds of years of propaganda depicting about our people. Propaganda that labeled us as less than human, three-fifths of a man and so many other negative stereotypes and cultural assumptions that the world has bought into.
This all begins with a choice: our choice to be better. When we are better, we inspire others to be better. The world today is crying out for change … the land patiently awaits a people that will be kinder, more compassionate, more caring, and more godly. When we choose to be better for ourselves, and for our unborn generations. And ultimately, our restoration will exalt our CREATOR, who formed us for HIS glory.
